In the middle of the inner city of Leiden lies the oldest botanical garden in the Netherlands. The Hortus botanicus Leiden is the study garden of Leiden University, laid out in 1590 by Carolus Clusius. Four centuries of collecting, care and study has produced a special garden with a unique collection.

In 2005 the Friends of the Leiden Hortus Foundation was established.
On behalf of the Friends of the Leiden Hortus Foundation, one of our valued dealers, the Flower Farm from Wassenaar, placed teak benches, with the name of the foundation engraved in the back.
